Winter Family Pics

This winter we have had an excess of SNOW! And ever since we've moved here to MD I have wanted to get some family pictures in the snow.  So, one afternoon after it had snowed, Layne's mentioned taking family pics.  So we jumped on it.  It wasn't very planned and we didn't try to do anything fancy.  But we did ask some of our really good friends of ours to take some family pictures with us.  They were honored and so were we to capture some great pictures of them with our kids! Our kids loooove them so much! They are absolutely so precious to our family! I just couldn't imagine not knowing them. God has blessed us beyond measure living here in MD! We love it and have the best friends we have ever had in our lives!

   

Jayce's 6th birthday

February 12, 2014....my first born turned S I X!!!! Not sure how that happened! The time has truly FLOWN by! We are blessed with such a sweet, fun, all boy BOY :) Jayce has been doing exceptional in school.  He loves to learn.  He's soaking up so much information I am just blown away! He's an excellent big brother to both his sisters.  They love love love playing with him.  During the day, Brynna misses him so much. Ryleigh and Jayce have such a special relationship too.  They are best buddies and of course siblings.  Jayce has made some good friends over the last couple years and I think this was his most fun birthday party! He invited specific people who he really wanted to be there.  He's made some friends with boys in his class at school and also his friends from church.  It's really neat seeing him bloom in his friendships.  
This year Jayce requested a Lego birthday party.  I had a lot of fun planning and preparing for his birthday party.  And I'm pretty sure he enjoyed all the extra attention towards him. HA.    The kids colored their own lego minifigures, we played Lego collaboration (where they had to roll a dice and build onto each others creations), and each of the boys got a Lego Chima racer as their party favor and they got to build it and then race it.  Jayce said it was the best birthday ever! :)  

     

Getting Back on the Blogging bandwagon

I've been terrible...I mean TERRIBLE at blogging for the last several months! Life is busy and I don't sit down and blog ever.  But I miss it.  And I know that I will regret it later on in life when I don't have records of what we did as a family during these past several months.  So, I am not going to go back and post about what went on over the last 9 months, but I am going to try to keep with updating what has been going on currently.
