This year has probably been the fastest year I have experienced in a long time. This is the year that I kept wishing would just slow down. My baby, my last baby just wouldn't quit growing :) I kept telling her to stay how she was, but she just didn't listen to me.
So we didn't really celebrate her birthday much on her actual birthday. We went over to some friends house that evening and we sang to her and she ate her first cupcake. But that was about it. We were waiting until the following weekend for her party. Layne's mom was coming into town for the party and we knew for sure that Layne would be off work that next weekend (March 9).
I still haven't taken her to her 1 year Dr appt...that's happening next week. So I will add her official stats later.
Here's what she can do so far at ONE
*Has started walking (still crawls quite a bit though) She isn't very balanced and when she loses her balance she just drops to the floor and crawls. She knows she's much quicker that way.
*Eats pretty much any fruit or veggie--LOVES them
*Refuses to let anyone feed her
*LOVES to play with her brother and sister
*Laughs hysterically at them
*Looks for them the second she wakes up
*Says "mama", "night night", "bye bye", "all done", "dada", "bubba"
*when holding a toy, will crawl with one foot and a knee
*Loves to play with her brother and sisters toys
*Just recently learned to climb the stairs (we have two sets)
*wants out of her high chair as soon as she's done eating
*Loves drinking water from her sippy cup
*Will only drink milk in a bottle, slightly warmed
*Has quite the personality
*Throws fits when she doesn't get something or her way
These few were taken at our friends house. The one with wild hair...she had fallen asleep in Layne's arms and when she woke up, she had some crazy hair from her bow :)
This last one is her experiencing the cupcake for the first time. She loved it!
