Disney World 2013-part 1

After having Ryleigh my Dad always told me that when Jayce was 5 and Ryleigh was 4 he wanted to take them to Disney world.  I told him that that was fine, but that he had to take Layne and I as well :) So this summer Jayce is 5 and Ryleigh was turning 4....so guess what that meant?! DISNEY WORLD!!!!! YAY!!! So my parents flew to Orlando and my family drove.  We stopped about 9ish hours from home and stayed with Layne's cousin Maggie and her hubs Aaron.  It was a quick night, but sooo good to see them!! We got to see her little baby belly and their new place.  Then the next morning we got up early and finished out our trip to Orlando.  As we drove up to the resort, it started pouring down rain!! :( But that didn't stop us from having fun.  We stayed at the Art of Animation in the Cars building. It was sooooo awesome!! Cars decor decorated all over our room and resort.  The resort also had Nemo, Little Mermaid, and Lion King buildings.  Outside each building was real life decor from each movie.  Our Cars building had a cozy cone pool...which had big cones around the pool that you used as a shade.  They also had all of the different cars from the movie outside lining the walkway. The kids thought it was so neat!  Our first full day there we hit up Animal Kingdom.  We started off our morning with a great breakfast with Donald, Goofy, Mickey and Daisey.  We didn't see Minnie, so I'm not sure if she dined with anyone.  The kids were so excited to see the characters.  I was a bit nervous about Jayce's reactions, because he normally doesn't like being around those type of characters.  Brynna thought they were very interesting too.  She thought they were just fine until Mickey walked past her and patted her on the head.  She did not like that he touched her!! She screamed the rest of the morning when one of them came near her.  She was only okay if I was holding her...protecting her I guess :) HA!!

She kept her eyes on him for quite a while. 

Mickey came by Brynna and touched her head....she DID NOT like that at all!! She was okay with them from afar, but after he made contact she was only okay with them while Mommy was holding her.  It was pretty funny!!! 

Ryleigh was so excited to see Daisey.  But she was trying to hold out for Minnie....who never came out. :(

My littlest princess was taking a snooze, but with the bumpy safari ride she woke up.

 The giraffes were soooo close to us.  They even crossed the road and stopped all traffic for a bit. :)

 The Rinos were Jayce's FAV!!!!!

Brynna would point and ohhhh at all the different animals that she would see.
