Little Slugger

Jayce started playing t-ball this year. HE LOVES IT! He's also one of the best on his team.  Ever since he was little he has loved playing baseball....he always been pretty darn good at hitting and throwing.  The catching thing needs a little practice :) But he has gotten better.  He can pretty much catch the ball if it is on the ground, but in the air is something else.  I'm pretty sure he will be signing up again. He only has three more games left.  And I will miss it when it's over.  I love watching him enjoy playing so much.  Each game the kids can go to whatever spot they want to when they are in the field.  They just have to be the first one there.  So there are many innings when Jayce will race as fast as he can to either first base or pitcher.  He loves the action.  He doesn't want to hang out in outfield and be bored.  Each game the coach gives a player the game ball.  Jayce got the game ball a couple games ago.  It was really neat to see his excitement and for him to know that he did such a great job that game.  One of the reasons he got the game ball was because while he was at pitcher one inning, he was able to stop the ball and throw it perfectly to first base where the other player was able to just pick up the ball and tag the base.  So it was his teams first inning ever getting three players out! What a stud! :) I'm glad he's having fun.

 My little guy's first game.  He is on the team the White Sox.  He looks so official and all. Love my little baseball player!! He's also pretty lucky that his daddy is going to be one of the coaches on his team.  He LOOVES the idea of Daddy being a coach. He's such a daddy's boy!!!

There's my little awesome ball player with the GAME BALL!! He talked about getting the game ball for DAYS afterwards! He was so proud and excited.
