15 months old

On May 12 Jayce was 15 months old and we finally got around to taking him to his well-check up to see how big our boy is actually getting. The doctor said that he looks great and is growing.

Here are his 15 month old stats:
weight: 22 lbs (10-25 percentile)
height: 33 inches (90-95 percentile)

When he went in for his 12 month check up he was 21 pounds, so our boy sure doesn't pack on the pounds. He takes after his momma and daddy when they were kids. Both Layne and I were very skinny kids. I was such a skinny girl that my parents had to buy me boy jeans because they came in slim. We still don't know where he's getting his height from, but that will be totally fine with me if he's a tall boy.

15 month accomplishments:
*words: Hi, Bye-bye, Mama, Daddy, Dazi, no, up please, more, thank you, juice, (signs: all done), night-night
*loves to read books, starting to put puzzles together, loves to play ball, loves to be outside, can't get enough of the water
*understands where to go when he takes a bath or goes to bed (loves going to bed actually)
*understands where we get his juice and milk from (points to the fridge)
*loves bananas, raspberries, mandarin oranges, chicken, green beans, yogurt, cheese, mac and cheese, beans (any kind-refried, baked, ranch, charro), spaghetti, bread. He's pretty much a good eater. Is starting to want to use a fork and spoon, but will sometimes let me feed him the messy foods.
*LOVES to dance and will dance to just about anything

He probably can do more, but my mind is just blank!!! We absolutely love our little man and hope that he will be a great big brother in just a few short weeks.
