Alright, everyone has been asking how our trip to Schlitterbahn was so here it is. We had a really good time!! It was fun, eventful and exhausting! We left Sunday for
Our condo at Schlitterbahn was nice. Two bedroom and one bathroom with a kitchen and living room. The place slept 8 and was plenty big for all of us. In the condo with us was Layne's parents, his sister and her husband and their three boys, Layne's grandma and of course Layne, myself and Jayce. We had two playpins for the babies and two blow-up beds for the older boys. After we got all settled in we headed out for the park. What fun did we have. We took the kids to the kid play area and they were wild. So much fun for them. We were having so much fun I forgot to bring my camera to that area. :( I am so bad...we did not get any pictures in the fun kid area. We spent the afternoon and early evening at the park. It was about 6:30 or so and we decided that it was time for dinner. We headed back to the condo and tried to get dinner ready. We decided to make things easy and order pizza for the evening. As we waited for the pizza, the two older boys went to the playground to play for a little while. About 3o minutes later or so we see Diane, Layne's mom running back to the condo with Colin the three year old in her arms. To our shock, we saw blood all over his head and back. Steph and I started freaking out! Colin was swinging and decided to be adventurous and let go while Pop (Layne's dad) was pushing him. He fell out of the swing and landed on the back of his head. We called the Schlitterbahn first-aid people and they came and cleaned up his head some, but they advised us to take him to the hospital. So that is what we did. Good thing that we decided to take him there because the cut was a lot deeper than we thought. Colin ended up having to get four staples in the back of his head. The doctor told him that he shouldn't go into the water, but that was not going to happen. This was our first day at the park and we had two more days to go. Someone suggested getting a swim cap for him to wear and that is just what we did. So after a very eventful night, we had a relaxing rest of the trip. Lots of time spent in the pool and riding on rides.

What an adventurous trip! LOVE the swim cap idea, so smart. I Laughed so darn hard when I saw Jayce with those silly goggles on. What a laid back kid. Wish we could've been there!
