Weekend in Corpus

The last weekend in July Layne's mom side of the family got together and went to Corpus Christi. There were about 20 of us and we all stayed in one house. His uncle recently bought a new house and wanted everyone to come and stay there. I was really nervous about it at first, but it ended up being a ton of fun and everyone really got along well. Everyone had their own room (for the most part) and the kids played so well together.

This is the list: Mamaw(Layne's grandma), Aunt Chisa and Uncle Craig and Brandon-their son(the homeowners, Layne's mom's brother), Aunt Teri and Uncle Clint and Seth and Carlee-their kids (Layne's mom's brother), Steph and Chad (Layne's sister) and their three boys, Dylan, Colin and Noah, Ray and Diane(Layne's parents), Miss Carol (Chisa's mom), Layne and I and our two kids. It was a house full, but so much fun!!!

They had a pool and a huge playground set for the kids to play on. We also had a Wii plus a game cube. So the kids were totally set! Uncle Clint brought 5 bikes so that all the kids could ride bikes if they wanted to. Noah and Jayce had a ton of fun playing together. We pretty much hung out at the house most of the time and spent the days in the pool. One day we all decided to venture to the beach and had a super blast!! We can't wait to go back next year.
