First Astro's game!

Last Friday night we all went to the Astro's game.  Layne's parents had some extra tickets so we decided to go and have some fun at the ball game! The whole way there Jayce thought that we were going to go and watch Daddy play. :) (hehe..Daddy wishes.)  When we pulled up to the stadium Jayce was already in awe.  He saw big pictures of the players on the side of the stadium and couldn't believe they were playing baseball.  Super cute! Then when we walked in and he saw the field, it was priceless!!! His mouth was wide open and he kept exclaiming, "Mommy! That's a baseball field?! They play baseball?! Ohhhhh!" Such sweet memories of his first game! We had really good seats too.  They were by home plate and so we almost had a few chances to catch a ball.  He also did GREAT during the game.  He pretty much sat and watched the entire game! He got down a few times, but there was absolutely NO fussing.  He's totally a boy.  I couldn't even watch the whole game.  It's hard to pay attention, but not for him. He sat in his own seat for a little while, then on Daddy's lap, then on my lap.  At the end of the game we went and sat with Nana and Pop and since it was a Friday night game, we got to see the fireworks.  He LOVED those as well!! I think the three things that he keeps telling people about the game is that he saw a bat break, saw a choo-choo, saw fireworks.


Ryleigh did pretty well at the game too.  She did fuss some, but hey---she's a girl and baseball isn't quite her thing. :) Overall, she did great too. She loved sitting in her own seat and being a big girl.  She even found a man to flirt with in front of her.  He kept her occupied for quite a while.
