Trip #2 to New Jersey

Layne spent almost 4 weeks in New Jersey and while he was there we took advantage of him being there.  The weekend after Layne's parents came into town, my mom was able to come up and visit! She had NEVER been up North anywhere, so we decided that going to New Jersey would be something fun to do.  So Saturday morning she and I packed up the car and headed to NJ.  We had a beautiful drive the whole way up.  All the trees were changing everywhere we went.  I'll have to take some pictures of all the trees changing! The kids are so amazed that the leaves even change! HA! On Saturday after we got there and Layne got off work, we headed over to the Jersey Shore again.  We wanted to show Mom what a beautiful beach it was and the kids were dying to play in the sand again! It was really really nice out and no wind.  So off we went.  The beach we ended up going to had all kind of sand dunes that the kids enjoyed playing on.  I didn't bring any shorts for the kids to wear because it had been cool, but we sure needed them this weekend.  So both kids improvised and made their own shorts. 

 Seriously LOOVVEEE the short shorts Jayce made himself :)
