Christmas 09

Santa just visited the Turner household!

This year I did an awful job of taking pictures of all the hustle and bustle. I guess I was just overwhelmed with two babies opening presents and couldn't multi-task that well. Christmas was busy!!! We spent Christmas Eve and Day over at my parents house. We went to church at Champion Forest that night and had a great time at the service. They did the a reconstruction of the "first Christmas" and had live animals. Jayce thought it was awesome!! He got to see camels, sheep, a donkey and an elephant! He loves animals so much that he has no fear of them. He wanted to pet all of them!! HA! So Santa came Christmas eve and brought Jayce a new "flintstone" car along with some cars, Leap Frog Tag Junior and some slippers. Santa brought Ryleigh a stroller walker and a toy that she can play with while she's sitting on the floor. Christmas day we opened heaps and heaps of presents! Grammie and PawPaw spoiled those two kids.

Then the next two days we spent celebrated Christmas with Layne's family. His sister drove in from Oklahoma, we almost thought she wasn't going to make it. The day before they had had a blizzard and the roads were awful! She got there late that night and missed Christmas with Layne's mom's side of the family. So since everyone wanted to see her we did a brunch the next day over at Layne's aunt's house. We pretty much did Christmas all over again :) Again, the kids got TONS of gifts. Layne and I brought both of our cars and they were both pretty much FULL!!! It was nice to see everyone during the Christmas Holidays, but it sure is nice to be at home. I am looking forward to this week getting back into a routine and having things back to "normal".

IN LOVE with his new car!!!!

Jayce did NOT want to sit next to his sister and take a pic.
He wanted to play with his new toys!!
