Spring Break

Last week we had Spring Break.  It didn't mean a whole lot to us, but it did mean that Mommy got her babies for the whole week all to herself! It was awesome! It was a great preview of what this Summer is going to hold.  I really enjoy working at the preschool, but I LOVE having my babies to ME! :)

Monday: We were able to just hang around the house and play.  It was a very rainy day and so that meant indoor play for us.  We did some dress up, played with playdoh, and got some awesome one on two time :) It was so much fun!!!! 

Tuesday: A friend of mine mentioned going to the Children's Museum, so we jumped on that band wagon and joined them.  It had been a while since we'd been....and so it was fun to take the kids.  I had a lot of mixed emotions while we were there.  I felt sorta bad for Jayce.  He was kinda at an awkward age.  He was a little too little for most of the attractions, but he was too big for the Tot Spot, where we used to go.  Don't get me wrong, this boy had a lot of fun....but he would get frustrated when he couldn't do something he wanted to.  We did go to the Tot Spot.....we were supposed to because Jayce was a couple months too old, but I was a bad mom.  :) I told him to tell them that he was two so that Ryleigh could get some good play time in. He was hilarious!!!! As we walked in through the doors, he looked up at them and said, "I'm TWO!" and then walked right in.  No one ever questioned it.  HA! Oh well.....

 Wednesday: We went to Meyer Park and enjoyed some gorgeous weather!!! We attempted to feed the ducks, but they really weren't interested. We were kinda surprised.  My mom joined us and then to our surprise, Daddy stopped by.  Meyer Park is near his office and we were hoping that he would since we were so close :) After some fun play, we had a nice picnic. We sure are loving this spring weather!!

Thursday: We didn't get any pictures on this day, but we spent the morning with our friend Morgan and then spent the afternoon playing with our friend Tyler.  We took Jayce's bike with us to Tyler's house and they rode bikes again. 

Then we spent the rest of our spring break at the lake house.  It was so awesome to be able to play and be outside so much!!  Ryleigh wasn't on the boat.  When I asked her if she wanted to go on a boat ride, she clearly stated she wanted to stay with Nana at the house.  So off we went without her :) But we did get a couple cute pics of her with her sunglasses on.  She wears them her own way.  She won't put them on her ears, so they just sit on her face.  And then she wonders why they fall off her face! HA!
