On Monday night we celebrated Layne's grandmother's 83rd birthday. Wow to be 83. I just can't imagine living that long. She has lived through SOOOOOO much!! Born in 1925---living through the depression, she saves EVERYTHING!!!! You go to her house and she always has stuff that she has saved for you. It's quite funny. She has been married over 60 years and her husband is 89 years old. What a wonderful life to have lived. Granny has 7 grandchildren, 5 grandchildren-in-law, and 8 great grandchildren (three are by marriage). What a blessing!!! She is so loved by all of us! She has been a wonderful grandmother to me and I appreciate her so much. She loves my baby boy so much!! Each time she sees him she lights up. Babies make her the happiest!
